Our Story

Our journey began with a desire for a simpler, healthier way of living. After my time serving in the Air Force, we knew exactly where we wanted to put down roots and raise our family: right here in Traverse City. Our home is a busy, beautiful one, filled with four daughters and our notably lazy coonhound named Marnie, who happily sleeps through most of the chaos.

As parents, we grew increasingly frustrated with the standard lotions and bath products available on store shelves. Everything seemed to be filled with harsh synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, and seed oils. We didn't want those artificial ingredients on our own skin, and we certainly didn't want them on our girls. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands and craft a better solution.

We turned to a pure, time-tested ingredient that has been proven for decades to deeply heal, nourish, and repair the human body: grass-fed beef tallow. By going back to basics, we formulated a safe, all-natural, and highly effective moisturizer that our entire family uses with complete peace of mind every single day.
